Durante su etapa en The Beatles, John Lennon aport\u00f3 a la banda sus inquietudes creativas y su radical inconformismo, frente a la vena m\u00e1s comercial y fr\u00edvola de Paul McCartney, con quien comparti\u00f3 protagonismo en la composici\u00f3n de los temas. Consumada en 1970 la disoluci\u00f3n del grupo, emprendi\u00f3 una nueva etapa musical con resultados tan memorables como el \u00e1lbum\u00a0<em>Imagine<\/em>\u00a0(1971).
